Does the chocolate fountain use real chocolate? Answer: Yes, we use real Chocolate. This is done for two reasons: First and foremost - Taste is of utmost importance and we will not compromise quality. Secondly, the quality, consistency and flow of the chocolate will be much more appealing. Back to Top 2. How much chocolate do you provide? Answer: Our pricing includes 10 pounds of high quality chocolate. In most scenarios, this will be more than enough chocolate for 100 guests. However, for events that require more chocolate, we offer you the ability to purchase additional chocolate in 10 pound increments. Back to Top 3. How many people will the chocolate fountain serve? Answer: Our package, which includes 10 pounds of chocolate, along with your accompaniments is normally adequate for events up to 100 guests. However, keep in mind that the Chocolate Waterfall will serve an unlimited number of people by adding additional chocolate. Back to Top 4. Do I have to set-up, tear-down and/or clean up the chocolate fountain? Answer: Fortunately, we do all the work for you. We will arrive at your special event at least 30 minutes prior to the designated starting time. The waterfall will then be carefully set up and the chocolate will be melted and flowing elegantly so your guests will smell the sweet aroma of chocolate when they begin to arrive. We then will clean up and dismantle The Chocolate Fountain when our time has ended. All you need to do is enjoy your part! Back to Top 5. How long can I have the chocolate fountain at my event? Answer: Our package includes use of The Chocolate Fountain for 3 hours. This is usually plenty of time for most occasions. This does not include set up and tear down, which are done on our time. For occasions such as trade shows, conventions or other events where additional time is needed, you can request overtime at an additional cost. Back to Top 6. What are the table and electrical requirements? Answer: Since The Chocolate Fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level, sturdy table is a must. A regular electrical outlet (located close to the fountain) is required. Back to Top 7. What dipping items can be used with the chocolate fountain? Answer: The Chocolate Fountain will be the centerpiece of your hors d'oeuvres table. Items which can be dipped in the chocolate should be placed closest to the fountain. Examples would be: strawberries, pineapple, apple slices, marshmallows, pretzels, angel food cake, cookies, etc. Use your imagination! The items do not have to be expensive to be a crowd-pleaser! Please keep in mind that any crumbly-type food that may fall into the fountain will cause the chocolate to get lumpy and not flow properly. Back to Top 8. Who provides the dipping items? Answer: We have found that many hotels and banquet facilities do not allow outside vendors to provide food items - that is either included with your package or an additional item for you to purchase through the banquet facility. If this is not the case, you may have already booked a caterer to provide your event with appetizers. We've found that over 90% of our bookings do not want us to provide the food. With that in mind, our package does not include the dipping items. We can provide the dipping items if you wish at an additional cost depending on what items you choose. Back to Top 9. Do You Provide The Decorations For Around The Chocolate Fountain? Answer: The Chocolate Fountain itself is the ultimate decoration for any table. We will provide decorative apron around the chocolate fountain base (to match your colors, if available). The table will look beautiful! You will need to provide a table cloth for the table. Back to Top 10. Can the chocolate fountain be used outdoors? Answer: The Chocolate Fountain will only operate in enclosed areas. Because of the chocolate's sweet aroma, little flying creatures are very likely to be attracted to the waterfall. Beyond that, maintaining the temperature of chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation. This would be difficult to accomplish in an outside setting. Back to Top 11. What area do you service? Answer: Our pricing includes delivery and set up at any facility located in Houston, TX and cities inside the highway 1960 loop. Answer: Yes, we require a reservation, a signed contract and a $200.00 deposit at the time of booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.
